So far, I've got around to thanking Dean and John H.

EB Spares also confirmed the correct gasket is the thick asbestos donut type
(102.00.09.700.01), which allows for minor adjustments to the joint so that
the system fits properly.

I just re-examined my parts book and it seems I was reading from "Tavola
Stupido", which gives exact reference to me being "Testo Posteriore". That's
"Butthead", in English, I believe. Despite several attempts before, I failed
to spot the numerical difference between "102.00.09.700.01" and
"102.02.09.700.01". Doh!
