I'm not sure I'd want to mess with it, but if your car is setup like 
a USA Milano or post-'84 GTV6, your proportioning valve is sort of 
under the master cylinder--it's a block of metal with brake lines 
going in and out of it.  The adjuster is under a rubber cap on the 
back.
