steering bushings on 164L

Last week I found out that the steering bushings need replacing. 20$ worth of
parts with $300.00 worth of labor. Has anyone had
experience with this. We are new Alfa 1992 164 owners in Vancouver. Also
reputable mechanic recommendations?
