Alfetta fuel gauge

Hi all,

I've bought a 75' alfetta, I'm new to alfas, but I'm having a ball putting it back together. that said, my fuel gauge doesn't move at all, not even a flick when I turn the key. Is there a troubleshooting procedure to see which component is at fault, sender, gauge or wire. Any help would be appreciated.
