Airflow meter problems on 164

Hi,
Had a backfire with the LPG conversion on the 164 24v and I think its done
damage to the airflow meter. The car runs fine on gas but refurses to idle
on petrol. Anyone know if this is a generic meter and I can use one from say
a Jag XJ6 (seems to be the same one) or if they are specific to a particular
car.
