Lawrence - I can't remember off hand which 'direction' they face but there
is only one way to insert them that makes sense. The raised part must mate
to the bracket that is attached to the exhaust because having that bracket
mate directly against the bracket on the transmission would negate the
purpose of having the shock mounts to begin with.
