Is 1 qt per 500 miles indicative of required engine work?  Engine runs strong and I do not see it smoke and it is not leaking while it is parked.  Had a great time last Friday at Lime Rock in spite of the weather.  My car actually seems to run smoother after hitting the rev limiter numerous times.  I'm still smiling.  Thanks to all the guys who gave so much to this gathering.  Bob
