Stiffener

Hello.... I'm interested a chassis stiffener for my 86 Spider...Two 
questions..My car has Centerline's sport springs which lower the car approx 
1", how much ground clearance is lost (if any) with the installation of a 
stiffener.  Also, any comment on the difference,  between or preference 
between Ereminas, IAP and Centerline?
