Octane

My Canadian spec 91 164 L with the 12 valve engine specifies 91 Octane 
minimum. This is understood to mean North American pump octane which is 
neither RON nor MON but halfway between those two numbers. I have to say 
I've never tried using lower quality fuel. Detonation can be devastating, 
and can be inaudible to the driver at the engine speeds where the damage is 
done, holy pistons batman...
