Does anyone have any good ideas for an improved mounting system?  I've been

looking at pictures of TZ's and the like, which have several small metal
mounting brackets, wonder if anyone else has contemplated using something
like that.

Since the paint's only about 8 months old, I hate to drill holes, but
replacing these expensive covers is ridiculous.

Have you got the little plastic "grommets" fitted to the tabs?  If not,
this could be the reason why they are always breaking.  I have them in
stock, either individually or as part of a fitting kit.
