Momo Steering Wheel and Fuel Gauge

Two quick questions:
Does the MOMO hub adapter work on a '86 Alfa Spider???

Second, I just got may baby back after a four month redo of the engine.
Now, the fuel gauge apparently reads more full than it is as low fuel light
came on and it did take 10 gallons to fill.  Gauge actually read 1/2 at that
point.  Any way to tell if it is the sending unit over the gauge?  Only
could think since fuel sensor was so low for so long, maybe it's a little
corroded or stuck and may free in time and fills???  Thanks, Don
