Aha.. looking at the picture in the IAP catalog it wasn't obvious that 
there wasn't something besides that screw to conduct the current.  And 
just that size or screw or bolt looked kinda tiny for the 300-500A when 
you use the starter!  Closing a much larger pair of flanges would be good.

The current is the same thru both poles.. what goes out one, goes back 
in the other one.  So no difference that way, but they probably 
reccomend negative because of the chance for fireworks if it was on the 
positive (not chassis) side, and something hung up on it, or rubbed thru 
it's insulation.
