I got a shop tour from one of Canada's (maybe North America's) auto
restoration shop.  The use POR-15 to undercoat throughout their
restorations.  That's a good enough endorsement for me.

And yes, I've heard you have to use it right away and also don't get any
on your hands or clothes.  It does not come off.
