RE: GLASS ADHESIVE

RE: The digest posts on glue:
This stuff is truly fantastic. I got some at this years Barrett-Jackson
Scottsdale Car Auction and I have no financial or otherwise interest in the
product other than being a satisfied customer. Be warned tho, this stuff is
instant and strong! It's ACRABOND INSTANT ADHESIVE.
It's a triple distilled wicking grade adhesive that can bond wood, metal,
rubber, ceramics, GLASS, and porcelain to themselves and /or each other
permanently! It was developed in Germany, is industrial strength and is
highly purified pure cyanoacralate adhesive. Get it at ACRABOND, INC.,
P.O. Box 5256, Lighthouse Point, Florida 33074. Phone 954.421.9053. Fax
954.421.6518.
I think I paid 18 bucks for 2.0 oz. which will last a LONG time because you
only use it a drop or so at a time and brother is it strong! You are
supposed to keep it refrigerated--but keep it in its plastic bag or locked
up,labeled, away from kids. For the lawyers out there, I am not responsible
for misuse, etc.
Hope this helps all the loosely challenged out there!

Subject: Spider vent window latches

My 1978 Spider has no vent window latches. Is it common for these to fall
off? Where does one get replacement latches, and do you use rear-view
mirror glue to install them? Does that make them strong enough to deter
break-ins? Thanks
