164S oil cooler/heat exchanger

Hi all,

Can someone comment on the effectiveness of the oil cooler/heat exchanger
setup on the 164S?  It looks like it could be a source of future problems with
all those hose connections (8 of them) and it probably further restricts the
amount of room available to remove the filter.  I was thinking of eliminating
unless it is really beneficial.

Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks,
