I agree the remote isn't very sensitive but I found that one of mine
does a lot better than the other. Also, sun reflections don't help.
Italy is not unknown for car theft. I wonder if the reason for IR over
RF was that there are so many transmitters out there that it makes it
more of a test for a thief to open the car with IR.
