re: killer suvs

Danny,

I'd look at the problem with avoidance in mind. Like whenever I drive my
father's GTV. I am freaked that I'll be the one person who smashes up his
car, especially now that its been restored (pics soon! its SWEET!) So what
do I do if I am being tailgated by anyone? I get the f outa the way. Plain
and simple, you only get bullied if you allow yourself to be put in that
situation. If someone is behind you with their high beams on, no matter what
they are driving, why not let the idiot by? Outrun them? Why? Get out of the
way. I think there was a thread a year ago or so where people were
discussing a form a freeway vigilantism. I use to practice freeway karma (or
was that carma...hmmm) If I saw someone getting cutoff, I would work to cut
off the person doing the cutting off. Something like that. That was until my
friend, who made up the practice with me, had an upset motorist put a gun to
his face and threaten to kill him (over cutting him off). What everyone
needs to understand is that there are crazy freaking people out there, but
not as many of them than there are frustrated ego driven a-holes who
adrenalize and lose control...a la Crazy Hockey Dad. I'd avoid road rage, or
any sort of rage. Its healthier.

Ted
