RE: OUTRAGED!!!

reading all negative posts about this ad has made me wonder if the silver
lining has been overlooked. the first posts asserted the bad guys'Alfa was
characterized as being unreliable, or not as good as the chevy. But the
positives are i.: the chase has obviously been going on for some time with
the Alfa having four large gentlemen occupants and undoubtably ill-gotten
goods in the boot and the Chevy only two occupants and the Chevy only
managed to catch the Alfa upon the occasion of the unfortunate flat tire,
probably a 165 x 14 with a rolling diameter 1-inch less that the oem tire.
And ii.: didn't anyone notice the smoothness and speed that the Alfa's power
window operated when the officer approached? Most impressive. I believe this
is the kind of advertising subtlety that we will see from the General in
marketing Alfa stateside.

ahhahah. I know!! My friends told me of this commercial last week and
I have been intently looking/watching for it. Just want to see the
Alfa in a commercial =)

I guess they figure people wont know what the heck kind of car it is,
and wont pass much judgement on it.. And now that GM has a fork into
Alfa, they don't have to get much permission to use the car? Ugggh
Little do people know of the abilities and Panache of the red car =)
