re: cops and italian plates

I have to agree with Karl on one thing: no front plate.

We're supposed to display a front plate here in texas, but of course,
the spider dosen't have a good location for it. Not to mention,
I don't want to!

The plate rides in the trunk, where I can pull it out if asked. Never
been asked though!

However, that is where my boldness ends. Plenty of cops have given
me plenty of (deserved) trouble over expired registration, inspection
and the like. I'm on the straight and narrow now..(!)..

In other news, one of my students saw my car today. "Is that your car?"
(note tone of admiration in her voice...) =)

nobody ever says that about a chebby!
