looking for a CHEAP daily driver
Well, it's that time. My milano is going in for a complete engine overhaul
due to a leaking main seal. Might as well do valves and rings too. So the
car is going to be off the road for a couple of months at least. Since it's
currently my only car, I need a daily driver to get me around town in the
meantime. (Wish I still had my spider) So it's time to add a second car to
the garage. Due to my financial situation and the fact that I'll be putting
a good chunk of $$$$ into the Milano, I am looking for a cheap daily driver.
I'd prefer an Alfa, but I guess I could drive something else.(Hopefully
not) If anyone knows of a reasonably priced Alfa in Southern California
that will get me around town for a couple of months without requireing major
repairs please let me know. Any of those free Berlina's out there? It
doesn't have to be pretty, but it definitely has to run. Ideally I'd like
something that I can keep after the Milano is fixed and slowly fix up.
Oh yeah, if I can't find anything interesting, I might just have to do one
of those 0% financing deals on a new Japanese car. I know you guys wouldn't
want me do that, would you? I know it's not my first choice.
Much rather have two interesting cars in the garage than an econobox.
