Dues

I can not believe all of the whining I hear about a small $15 increase in
dues. You join because membership is of some value to you. No one is forcing
you to be a member of AROC or any other organization . Someone mentioned
other car clubs, but several of those clubs are not comparable to the AROC.
I am a member with several clubs ( AROC, BMWCCA, SCCA), and the clubs that
have active manufacture participation  are always better of financially and
can offer those special activities.  There is a club with an equal fee - the
SCCA. If you can not financially afford to maintain your membership, there
is always next year. I have been in that situation where I had to let a
membership lapse because I could not afford it, so is life.
