Biba,

i still have my bearing retaining-ring tool, if you
want to borrow it. it's ugly as anything, but gets the
job done. someone recently posted (early autumn?),
that they used a tool from harbor freight (sadly, i
don't recall which one) to remove the race from the
hub (when i wrote that, i didn't know about the ready
existence of that tool). the bearing race is the worst
part.
