If you all recall, last year I bought a Verde from a fellow digester as a gift for my wife.  When I was courting her back in '96 I had a red '87 Verde and an '85 Veloce.  She liked the Veloce, but LOVED the Verde.  Of course she never made that little fact known to me until AFTER I sold the Verde to help cover Grad School costs.

She actually checks the oil regularly and washes the car once a week.  Yup all by herself, imagine that.  Oh, and as for the power, she loves it.  She's fond of teasing me that she'll blow the doors off my little X1/9.  Of course I smile and reply that not if I get to choose the road. ;)  Also, she's already spun the car out in the rain!  She was making a left at a "T" intersection and got a little too much on the throttle.  360 degrees later she came to a stop, thankfully without swapping paint with anything.

She'll be at the next Fiat America driving school for sure...
