Designed to rust, another weekend working on my Milano

I, Mark Denovich, do solemnly swear to never buy a rusty car again...

What was Alfa thinking when they designed the sunroof drains on the
Milano/75? The drain empties into the into the rocker panel, where it
happily collects and rusts the jackpoints away. Why didn't they make
the tube 6" longer and have it drain right onto the ground? *sigh*

Product endorsement: Braided stainless steel brush wheels for use on an
angle grinder. These things kick ass. They remove rust better than
just about anything, just be careful using them. I bought another
cheapo angle grinder ($15 from NorthernTools)... one for the brush one
for a grinding wheel.

Looks like I'm in for a few more weekends blazing away with the MIG welder.

My activated carbon fuel vapor canister has rusted away. Are they
really cheap to buy new? or should I just make one?
