You'll actually have to take this up with the United Kingdom
(or every manufacturer placing adverts there) because it is in
fact the norm in the UK to quote HP/PS and Nm.  go figure. :)  
Actually, if I remember correctly.. in Italy they also do something 
like list both kW *and* HP/CV and then Nm.

ok, back to reading the interesting discussions on the digest about
how Italians screw up everything from Argentina to automobiles...
(at least the motorcycles, food, and clothing are ok?)
