Substitute 'everyone' for 'him', 'their' for 'his' and 'the experience' for 'the
parts' in the above sentence and you have a close restatement of the 'Golden
Rule', 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.'

The key in Tom sentence is the 'If.' And we all remember what Dandy Don Meredith
of the Monday Night Football crew used to say: "If, 'If and buts' were candy and
nuts, What a Merry Christmas we all would have." <G>.
