Milano radio question

Idle thought:  The Milano ergonomics are pretty bad with regards to the 
radio -- since I don't smoke and the DPO lost the ashtray anyway, has anyone 
thought about putting the radio where the ashtray would go?  A rough 
eyeballing of the space indicates it would be close, but has anyone ever 
tried it?
