GTV6 torsion bars

I am interested in lowering the front end on my GTV6, and was wondering how 
involved the process is. Do you need to disconnect the shock or the anti 
sway bar before you pull the torsion bar out the back?  How much pull is 
required to get the bar out?  Where's a good place to get the "factory 
tool?"  Thanks in advance-
