RE: SF to LA - no Alfas

Hello John,
I just got back from Vegas. The trip was Sunnyvale -->LA-->OC-->VEGAS-->Sunnyvale (started SAT morning, back Weds.). The car didn't even hick up once. With convertible top down (28MPG), top up (30MPG), very nice @ average 80MPH. I didn't really want to push more than 90MPH because I just got the car 2 months ago. Didn't know the car well enough. Got home safe and sound. All the curves of HW58 (Bakersfield) and HW152 were great @ 70-75MPH.
The trunk was hot, melted all my candles. I need to find out why. The car looks great in Bellagio's vallet parking with all other non alfa convertibles.
None Alfa all the way even in VEGAS.
