Fan blade follow-up; Quadraflow redux

Thanks for the helpful suggestions on dx of the possible problems of which
broken fan blades may be symptomatic.  No detectable motor mount problems in
my case, so perhaps it was just a fatigued blade.  I'll keep checking the
mounts.

As for the Quadraflows, sounds (no pun intended) like the jury is still out.
If a person did decide to get some, where might he or she start?  Internet
searches (google.com for Shankle Quadraflow) only get to Dave P's
references...
