I noticed some comment about 164s typically wearing front tyres out in 10k
miles, and even 5k. Well by contrast I have just changed the Goodyear NCT3s I
put on the front of my TS just under two years ago. They were down to the
treadwear warning bands and had covered almost exactly 19k miles.

I also changed the front disc pads this morning and to my amazement the pads I
removed were Bendix with Alfa markings on the back and almost certainly the
originals that the car was fitted with when new nine years ago. They have done
60,047 miles. My local supplier sold me new pads for 28 pounds ($42). The
discs are not perfect, but they look OK so I have not changed them.
