164S stall

I am having an interesting problem with my 91 164S. It stalls when idling
intermittently. It will go for a while 10 minutes of driving fine and
then while waiting for a light to  change it will stall. It starts right
up and then it may not happen for the rest of the day. I checked for a
code on the computer and only got 4-4-4-4. I changed the gas filter
30,000 miles ago. Could this be the problem?
