Milano heater mix valve

Alan,
  I "fixed" my constant heat problem by putting a manual valve in the heater 
hose in the engine compartment.   These valves are available at all auto 
parts stores.  Just get the right size for your line.  When i need heat, i 
open the valve.  Luckily, 97 % of the year, i don't need heat so the valve 
just remains closed.
