Newby to Alfas looking to purchase 76 GTV (alfetta)

THANKS! so far to those that have been supplying me
with the intro education on alfas. The seller is going
to let me have the car for the day next week to drive
around and check out. I just purchased the
"Illustrated Alfa Romeo Buyer's Guide" today and have
virtually read it cover to cover. I has provided me
with much needed understanding of the Alfa mark. I
look forward to joining the Alfa ranks soon.

I am making room in my garage for the addition by
selling my street legal F-Production Austin Healey
Sprite. If any one knows of someone interested in such
a car let me know. Here is a description of the car. I
can forward links to some photos as well.

1967 Austin Healey Sprite - A Street legal
F-production 1967 sprite (currently registered and
inspected in Pennsylvania). Includes MGB front brakes
with spitfire rotors, front carrera tube shocks,
Winners Circle front sway bars, stainless braided
brake lines, and urethane bushings. Rear suspension is
full coil over carrera rear suspension with watts
linkage and Winners Circle sway bar. Car has a SCCA
roll cage, new fuel cell, aeroquip braided fuel line
up to regulator at carbs, trunk mounted sealed orbital
battery, new Kirkey racing seat, simpson 5 pt. seat
belts, Smiths Tach, oil press/ water temp gauge, oil
temp gauge, stock passenger seat, Engine items
include oil cooler, remote oil filter, GM alternator,
gear reduction starter, strong stock 1275 (45 psi oil
pressure at idle when warm), 1-1/2 in SU carbs, crane
electronic ignition, headers, 2 inch exhaust thru
dynomax muffler, crossflow radiator and scattershield.
Tranny is a ribcase with new synchros this summer.
Exterior has new 1970 Chrysler Lemon Twist yellow
paint. Other items include 5.38 rear, 4.22 rear
(open), 4.22 rear (welded), 7/16 long wheel studs, 13
x 6 inch cosmic alloy wheels with 215-50-13 Sumitomo
tires, and 13 x 5.5 alloy wheels with goodyear 13 x 20
x 8 inch slicks. Many other spares parts in garage as
well, including Huffaker Cam, Isky lifters and valve
springs. Car has been a race car since 1967 as new
with no street use and never has had rust! I have SCCA
Log books back to 1972. The SCCA roll bar stamp is
026-002, which makes it the second log book issued in
the Northern New Jersey Region of the SCCA. Drive on
street, autocross, Solo 1 hillclimbs, Volvo Historic
Series or go SCCA racing. SCCA racing would require
addition of fire system and two roll cage braces.
