Duetto Jack / wax ramoval

Greetings Alfisti !

The jack for my duetto is not functional.  It's probably stripped 
inside.  I have a similar jack that has usable guts.  Does anybody know how 
to take a jack apart ?

Also, how do you remove wax from textured black plastic trim ?
