Karl,

Yes the new oil filter is indeed smaller than the original ones used
on the LS. In fact, it is now labeled as Fiat/Alfa romeo part... must
be the standardization within fiat corporation to cut cost.

It is a little shorter.. I haven't really compared the internals yet.
