164 4-cam flex pipes
Jak,
Tomorrow I am replacing all my engine mounts, and if I feel comfortable, I am
going to try and do the flex pipes myself as well. I got the flex pipes for
$295 from Stebro. I believe IAP has them for $210 (for the '91-93 cars,
although I can't imagine they're much different). If I feel I can't do it
myself, then I'll take the car to the local midas where they'll install them
for one hour's labor (roughly $80). If I do it myself, I'll post to the list
and let everyone know how it went.

Subject: 4cam 164 exhaust flexpipes
Hi!
has anyone had any experience replacing the flexpipes
which go between the exhaust manifolds & the catalytic
converter on a 94-95 164 (Q & LS are the same)?
is there any alternative to the factory ones which cost
almost $700us plus installation?
