"Trimming" a Spider

The left front corner of my '84 Spider sits noticeably lower than the
right.  This has been the case both before and after installing new coil
springs.  Service manual suggests adjusting the "trim" by inserting
shims against the top of the coil spring.  These would be easy enough to
have made but I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a source for what was
apparently a factory part.
