I'd guess that you need to adjust the front torsion bars to cure the 
lean of your milano.   I haven't had to do that repair on my car yet so 
I can't give you an estimate on time.

About the poor handling...  I would first suspect the watts link 
bushings as the source of your rear end wiggle.   Depending on rust or 
lack thereof it's a pretty easy job to remove and replace them.   A few 
hours with the right tools.

While you're at it you'll want to check the condition of the rear 
trunion mount...  The big bushing that mounts the rear of the transaxle 
to the car.   Mine had the consistancy of tar... It was the source of my 
milano thunking.   It also made shifting a bit crisper too.   It's a 
slightly bigger job, because getting the old shell out is a pain.

With a well equip'ed garage, you could pretty easily tackle all that in 
a weekend.
