Spider Bouncing

No, not a new game, rather a twitchy rear end. My '85 Graduate just got
new shocks, but the rear is still easily depressed with one arm and rough
roads are a challenge. The rear is much easier to depress than on other
Spiders I have leaned on. When both wheels hit a rut or bump at the
same time its a little scary, the rear feels like it wants to swap ends
with the front. Any suggestions? There is quite a bit of side to side
wiggle in such situations, but I've never driven another Spider. Don't
know if this is typical.

Thanks.
