164 Valve Guides- How Much$$$

I am currently looking at a 1991 164 base. It is in very good condition, 1st 
owner was a alfa dealer owner. The only problem is that its valve guides are 
going and burns a quart of oil every 350-450 miles. How much will it cost 
replace these and is this car a still good deal at $3300 and 100k miles? I 
have owned 2 GTVs and a GTV6 but never a 164, anything else I should look out 
for (except the obvious stepper moter)
