Nope, no heat. I just bent it using a plastic mallet, my vise, and a bit of 
brute force. I use this cold rolled steel a lot and find it bends easy 
without heat and doesn't seem to fatigue. Once bent it holds its position 
well too. A bit heavy for some applications but it works.
