RE: GM bashers, look more positive



Like I said last week about BMW's current racing activities
versus Alfa's, check out what GM is doing these days:
Winston Cup, Olds engines in IRL, Corvettes and Cadillacs in
sportscar racing, Camaros in Trans-Am, Opel in the new DTM,
Vauxhall in the British Touring Car championship, Holden in the
Aussie Touring Cars etc.

Many of these are factory efforts, and many are pretty
successful. Now if GM takes a little of its racing activities
and pours it into a platform for Alfa to use in 2005-2010, is
that really so bad? Much of Alfa's heritage is based on racing
and I'm sure GM would recognise this. 

I like the idea of the R&S Alfa prototype racer...
