85 Spider starting problem

My 85 spider has started something new.........When you turn the key to
start
it....nothing......no juice period.....no warning lights no buzzers
...nothing..and for course no started....it's dead..and later it starts
just
fine...plenty of juice....anybody know what's up with this problem?

One possibility is that the switch itself is failing. The contacts
inseide are burned, corroded, or not making any physical contact at
times. Do you have a heavy key ring? This is often the cause, although a
high number of cycles can do it too.
