164 tires

I'm looking to mount something wider on my 15" S version wheels, but
wanted to get some opinions as to the pluses and minuses of doing so.
I've been told that I could mount a tire as wide as a 215 on my 164's
15" wheels.  Has anyone out there considered/done this, and can you
offer any feedback?
