Electrical cut out

Hi all,

While waiting to take delivery of our new Alfas, ha ha ha, I thought that you
could help me with a problem. In the past few days my 87 Milano Platinum has
started to cut out over bumps. At first it was a very slight hesitation and
the ABS light would come on. I should note that my ABS light has been coming
and going for the last two years, some times it comes on dimly other times it
is at full brightness and some times it varies. The ABS off periods can run
into months. On Friday it was hesitation, ABS light and then heavy static on
the radio, the static was the "bad antenna" type of hissing and crackling.
The ABS light was reset after I shut the car off and restarted, so I am
assuming that its coming on was due to the momentary loss of power. The radio
problem has continued and is more pronounced under braking, in fact slowing
quickly will really set it off. I have checked the antennae and cable, they
are fine. Today the first occurrence was accompanied by a full instrument
light up, as if the car was just being started. On the tollway/interstate
this evening the occurrences became more frequent, around six in a 70 mile
high speed trip. I have begun to hypothisize/guess that it may be:

1) A dash board connector.
2) A switched power relay.
3) The ignition switch.
4) A short in the loom in the back of the car (antenna, ABS computer, brake
lights all reside in rear).
5) Any of the above, but a ground problem of the same area.

Comments, guesses?

TIA,
John Katos
87 Milano Platinum, many others.
