I bought new Alfas since 1958

Since 1958 the Average was one new Spider every other year until 1971, then
Alfettas Sedan and Coupe, two Milanos and a 164 in 1990.   Early years until
1985, all were Spiders from Giuliettas, Giulias, and Round tail picked up in
Milan, then the '71 Spica equipped Spider.   That's my contribution to Alfa
Romeo and of course, I helped sell many more, I think.  Fred Di Matteo
PS, if the GM deal goes through to sell Alfas, I do not believe Detroit Iron
salesmen will try to push anything that does not sell FAST!   Remember he
Chrysler fiasco?   I hope I'm very wrong.
