Molasses in 164 tranny

When I leave in the morning it feels like I'm rowing the 5-speed
transmission through a thick Louisiana swamp. The colder the weather the
heavier the shifting. After a couple of miles everything clears up and the
throws are fine. Fairly fresh Red Line in the tranny. Any thoughts?
