Re: Lowering GTV6 Front

I recently raised(!) the front ride height of my GTV-6 to about 1 inch lower
than stock. The previous owner had lowered it so much that the car looked
like a top fuel dragster. As a result, the forward exhaust was destroyed
from bottoming out.

Unless you have great roads where you live and/or are going to use stiffer
torsion bars and lower, stiffer rear springs, I probably would stay within a
1-2 inches of stock. Just my opinion in a practical sense. Looks great but
gets expensive if you slam the oil sump or front exhaust against a speed
bump, Ouch!

The GTV-6 website gallery has a picture of a car with an extremely low front
ride height, http://www.gtv6.org/gallery3.htm.
