============================
i lowered my gtwe6 ~2" in the front, ~0.5" in the rear. i had to use tom zat's
eccentric upper control arm bushings, which effectively lengthen the control
arms, to get the camber rite. i may still grind the lower control arm where the
adjustment shims go, cuz i still have a hair more negative camber on the
passenger side than i'd like for the street - just past spec. i get a bit more
inside tire wear than i'd like, but w/rotating the tires, it seems not to impact
total tire life too much - all the tires seem to get worn to the wear-bars
before any tire's inside edge gets too bad.
i'm running 225-15-15's on 15x8 wheels, & i had to roll the rear fender lip, &
in the front, i had to cut away the back edge of the air-dam, where it wraps
inside the front of the front wheel-well. it now follows the profile of the
fender, instead of turning in a few inches. no one notices it, unless it's
pointed out to them. the only rubbing i get is the outside edge of the front
tires rub a bit on the back-insides of the wheel-wells, but only at full
steering lock. as this occurs only when parking, it's not a concern. there's
yust a li'l shiny spot on the inside of the wheel-wells!
good luck,
doug "nose *not* stuck up in the air" sedon
